Big Bear launches private label wine

Sometimes, a little wine with dinner or after work can take the edge off a little bit.

For others, some wine with cheese is a party affair.

For Big Bear Wine & Liquor, wine means community service.

Well, in a sense, now that it’s launching its first community series private label wine, All In For The Fight!

Creating a private label wine always has been a priority for owners by brothers Alan and Brian Lucas with sister Jackie Seybold.

And giving back to the community has been just as high a priority.

So sparked the Big Bear “Community Series” label.

This private label wine will bare the name and logo of a local organization and will benefit them financially.

After finding the perfect wine and searching for the right community partner, Big Bear’s manager Brian “Boomer” Cover’s father, Doc Cover, died of pancreatic cancer., and Brian Cover launched the “Doc Cover Foundation.”

Big Bear is launching the first community service private label for Pancreative Cancer Awareness Month at 2 p.m. Nov. 2 at its store at 2037 S. Pueblo Blvd., and will donate $2 from very bottle sold to the “Doc Cover Foundation.”
