Letter: Traffic circles
A few years back, my wife and I took a trip back East through Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Massachusetts and Northern New York state on down to Nantucket Sound, Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard.
What a beautiful area.
It was a very enjoyable trip, except for the traffic circles, going around in circles.
What a circus!
Because of heavy traffic, you’d hope and pray someone was polite enough to let you change lanes and exit where you wanted to go.
Considerable amount of the traffic around Pueblo West is generated by Lake Pueblo State Park, like fifth wheels, R.V. motor homes and boat trailers.
Also moving vans, large trucks and emergency vehicles coming in and out of the Pueblo West area.
A traffic light with turn arrows would work much better and a lot less frustrating.
