The Pueblo West View

Letter: Thank you

The Pueblo West Chamber of Commerce was very pleased with the 34 vendors displayed along Civic Center Drive for the Fourth of July celebration, including DJ, Pueblo Beauty pageant girls, local band; C-4 performing, free kids games and prizes provided by Oasis Church, etc.

The splash park was a huge success and eight food vendors participated with a variety of great treats for everyone in the family.

The Pueblo West Chamber of Commerce would like to thank all of those community volunteers that stepped to help us set up, operate and maintain the day.

We give special thanks to our major sponsor Parkview for both sponsoring the event but also their contributions to the fireworks display.

Much gratitude to our other sponsors, including Loaf ‘N Jug, Pueblo West Metropolitan District, Oasis Church, Black Hills, Pueblo West Rotary, Pueblo West Women’s League, San Isabel Electric Association, and Comcast Cable.

Thank you to the “Friend of the Fourth” donators: K.R. Swerdfeger Construction, Colorado East Bank & Trust, Fraternal Order of the Eagles and Legacy Bank for contributing to the firework funds.

We would also like to thank all local officials (fire, sheriff, state patrol, parks and recreation) for their amazing support. Without them this event could not have occurred safely and fluidly.

I would like to personally thank our amazing board of director team for all of their hard work, diligence and dedication to put off such an amazing family and community event while allowing vendors to display their services - products and information. Tianna Galganno was a major consultative component in our collaboration, communication and success in the event; cradle to grave and we so value her.

If you were not able to make this year’s Civic Center (Vendor Fair) celebration, please make a note to come next year.

Thank you,

Carrie Klassen

President

Pueblo West Chamber of Commerce
