The winds across Pueblo West mostly cleared the trees of any leaves in preparation for winter. Last Friday afternoon, the Pueblo West breeze was slowing down from an earlier 40 mph. Katriana Burgess and her friend, Samantha Guinn, decided to rake leaves. Work turned to play as they discovered the wind would carry the leaves when thrown into the air. Even more fun if you made a pile of leaves and then jumped into the pile. A snow shovel is not the perfect leaf raking tool but certainly reminds us of possible future weather.
