The Pueblo County commissioners took little time Wednesday approving a new cultivation license for a medical marijuana store in Pueblo West.
The speed came in large part because the commissioners had taken a similar vote just a few months ago for the same applicant.
All three commissioners approved the cultivation license for Today’s Health Care on Wednesday.
In January, the applicants were given approval of their medical marijuana distribution center, along with a license for a kitchen to produce marijuana-infused products.
The commissioners also approved a cultivation license, but the applicants said Wednesday that the license didn’t cover both the kitchen and the store.
Wednesday’s action provided a remedy for that.
The business, located on the 200 block of Purcell Boulevard, faced some opposition from a neighbor during its initial application, but those concerns were dealt with by the time the commissioners voted on the project.
