Hundreds of residents from children, grandparents, parents, aunts, uncles, friends lined Joe Martinez Boulevard last Thursday to celebrate the annual Fourth of July Dry/Wet Parade. Some residents teamed up for the biggest water fight of the year, but before the water war commenced, all mostly remained silent for the honor guards, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Neighborhood Crime Watch and other commemorative honorees during the dry portion of the parade.
