Metro District news: manager’s report
The following are highlights of a report presented by Pueblo West Metropolitan District Manager Jack Johnston to the Pueblo West Metro board of directors.
Aurora storage proposal and Fountain Creek water rights study was to be discussed at Aug. 14 meeting
RPSSI completion stalled due to change order negotiations related to excavation change of conditions
A four-inch submersible pump was a sole-sourced item; lift station built to manufacturer specifications
The recent storms have not caused infrastructure damage or road closures but necessitated debris clean up
The Purcell/Platteville roundabout construction is progressing well; no specific complaints have been received by the Pueblo West Metropolitan District.
The Pueblo West Metropolitan District will piggyback County bids on road striping and crack/mastic sealant material at 2013 pricing.
Parks and Recreation
The northside park site assessment and Colorado Department of Transportaiton trail enhancement updates have been deferred to the Aug. 26 meeting.
Fall programs (football, soccer, volleyball, swimming, karate, taekwondo, crochet) registration in progress.
COA TRACT ENFORCEMENT RE-ESTABLISHMENT PROJECT
Tract 232 letters have been mailed out to 69 property owners with a deadline of return by Sept. 12.
Tract 331 letters were mailed on July 11 with a deadline date published of Aug. 8.
As of Aug. 6 only 37 of the 439 lots have been signed and returned.
Tract 334 letters were mailed on July 11 with a deadline date published of Aug. 8.
As of Aug. 6 only 9 of the 61 total lots have been signed and returned.
