It doesn’t hurt when 30 teams find themselves knee deep in mud on a hot day. In fact, participantss jumped at the chance to play volleyball in the mud last Saturday during the second year of the MUDD volleyball tournament. The tournament featured coed teams battling it out, all day long, in huge pits of mud at the corner of Assembly Drive and McCulloch Boulevard. MUDD Volleyball is an important fundraiser to support March of Dimes programs of research, services, education and advocacy. These aim to help mothers have full-term pregnancies and healthy babies.
