Family nature camp

A family nature camp Saturday and Sunday is an ideal opportunity for families to enjoy the wonders of Nature led by our professional naturalists at Mountain Park Environmental Center in Beulah.

Mountain Park officials do all the cooking, provide the linens in very comfy dorms (or choose the private room option), and your family has a great time.

Includes lunch and dinner on Saturday, breakfast on Sunday.

Butterfly count

A butterfly count excursion is less of a hike and more of a saunter that stays pretty much to the park’s roads, in search of butterflies at 9 a.m. Saturday.

This is the Seventh Annual Butterfly Count in Pueblo Mountain Park, guided by Mark Yaeger of the Arkansas Valley Audubon Society.

No experience is necessary.

Bring close-focus binoculars and/or a digital camera if you have them (although they are not necessary).

Family Day Challenge

Experience Mountain Park Environmental Center’s newly completed low challenge course with your family and friends from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 3 in Beulah.

You will have exciting, team building adventures as you work through the different elements on our course.

See first hand how our challenge course and enjoy its beautiful forested location.

Facilitated by Ranger Greg and Ranger Audra, includes a delicious home-cooked lunch.

Nature for toddlers

The Nature for Toddlers is an outdoor-based program is designed to give preschool–age children an opportunity to spend some time enjoying and learning about Nature.

The program is at 10 a.m. Aug. 16 at the Mountain Park Environmental Center in Beulah.

Nature songs, a small hike, lots of fun for all.

Zuke’s walk your dog hike

The monthly popular Mountain Park Environmental Center’s walk your dog program is at 9 a.m. Aug. 18.

Zuke’s August walk your dog hike offers guided hikes for folks and their dogs.

Your dog friends will also be treated with healthy snacks provided by Zuke’s Dog Treats.

Dogs must be leashed.

Full moon music hike

A full moon music hike, a perfect way to spend a summer Sunday evening, sauntering under August’s “Green Corn” Moon, and celebrated with the Mountain Park Environmental Center at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 18 in Beulah.
